Color Pigments

Pigments are insoluble particles and are applied not as solutions but as finely ground solid particles mixed with a resin system of some sort. In general, the same pigments are used in paints, printing inks, ceramics, concrete, and plastics. They may be organic (i.e., contain carbon) or inorganic.
